Turn references into an interface
Explain what you like, rather than simply uploading an image.
Separate the information in an image
One reference can contain colors, typography, photography, spacing and structure. Choose the two or three aspects that matter most, such as monochrome contrast, large headings or bottom navigation. Avoid importing details that do not fit the project.
Add what the image cannot show
What happens after a click, when there is no data, or when the user returns often determines usability. Briefly describe these states to move beyond a static style toward a real experience.
Compare the reference with the preview
Check information hierarchy and flows separately; not every pixel must match. For logos, portraits and customer assets, confirm you have permission to use them. A reference communicates an idea; it does not grant rights to third-party designs or materials.
