Context is more than a full history

Remembering a task depends on relevance, versions and the current goal.

What the industry is exploring

Anthropic’s context engineering article treats context as a limited resource and discusses on-demand retrieval, compaction and structured notes. More input capacity does not mean every turn should repeat the entire history.

Separate layers of information

For app creation, retain stable goals, the current version and unresolved issues. Abandoned colors, repeated errors and unrelated chat should not have the same priority as current requirements. This is our perspective on continuous creation, not a promise about any model’s performance.

Help reduce ambiguity

When a task changes direction, say “use this version now” or “pause this feature.” When saying “continue,” identify what to continue. A good product should manage these references proactively; clear feedback still helps it correct course sooner.
